Digital Bangladesh is the slogan the present government.
It means that the country will be digitized. In a word all the major sectors of the country will be controlled and automated by computer.
The purpose of digitizing the whole country is to get the maximum benefits with the least possible efforts. Digital system will save waste of time, money , efforts and resources. But it is not easy to digitize the whole country in a miraculous way. It will cost huge resources and eftorts which Bangladesh can hardly afford. This is highly ambitious for poor country like Bangladesh. But the government should introduce realistic plans and programmes in this regard. We should move forward in this regard phase by phase. For this the country needs massive external assistance in term of resources and expertise. If we can materialize this dream of digital Bangladesh, the country will be a developed one. This is a vision. But we have to put in huge efforts in this regard.For this the country will have to ensure high tech base.
